loved the Mosport footage. Looks like they paved the corners that were totally worn out and like ice in the wet- like Turn 6. Also Turn 3 now has asphalt runoff now. No more sliding into the swamp like a certain Cobra did for COM.

Mosport was completely repaved a few years ago, and there are several patches in places that are even newer. I didn't get to see the whole track, but there were definitely new patches in 8, 9, and 10. There is an issue in 10 though, much like the outside of 11 at NHMS, you do NOT want to go over the curb because of the ditch on the other side of it. I was last there in 2008, and I was amazed at how much the facility has improved since then. There is a lot more paved paddock space, pit lane is significantly improved, the tunnel is big enough to drive through, and most of the walk-over bridges have been redone, as well as a lot of the gravel traps being replaced by paved runoff as Bruce mentioned.

As a side note, all of the Tudor and CTSCC races are usually posted not just on youtube, but also in the multimedia of www.imsa.com, usually the Tuesday or Wednesday after the initial race broadcast. All of the season's races so far except for Kansas and Lime Rock (no TV for either) and the Mosport CTSCC race (too soon) are up there now.

Steve,

Thanks for the update and the link. I was doing paperwork and watched the whole thing. I was impressed when they broke for a commercial and said they would be back in 30 seconds and it was edited out. Action resumed right away.

I enjoyed the track as much as the Glen. Hopefully with all the improvements it has not driven the cost up to much and the club will get back up there soon.
