Congrats again on the hardware Baller.
Here's my TT. Forget my time, but it was a 1:27.something. About a 1 second improvement from NHMS-1.

Thanks! My best time of the weekend was during the rally. 1:27:8
I thinm we will be good competition in T30.

Re: NHMS-3 Videos
I hate to say it but it's not really a t30 car . it maybe a slow car in t40 but in realty it should be in t40 .
your new to track driving so between that and proper set up that car has another 4 seconds quicker lap time in it before any other mods are done to it .

Re: NHMS-3 Videos
First time using my GoPro and Race Render, I think I got the right set of laps to overlay the telemetry; obviously the RPMs aren't connected to the car. Not sure why it cuts out at the end mid-lap. Practice makes perfect.

Dave,
I gave them all the data, they researched what the car is at the track. They got all of the info, and I gave them every upgrade and mod it has. (no LSD in it by the way) It came out to 32 points. I can chip it and put a cam in, if there is that stuff for it and still be T30.
Like you said, you can't be happy with a win if you cheat. I made sure everything was legit.

Dave,
He's right. The base assessment for his year CRX is significantly lower than the 88 CRX in the rule book.

Re: NHMS-3 Videos
I did check the car does have LDS and it was never offered for the 1st gen crx . to check all you have to do is what I did and hack the front wheels off the ground hold one tire and spin the other and yes they both will spin the same way .
I could keep going with like the car has front torsion bar suspension and it was also added adjustable coil overs .
I came up with over looking some things like a bigger diameter full custom exhaust and things like the intake before the T-body with 20 points .
I still can't see the car built to this level as a T30 car . granted it does not have much hp but truly it's far from a stock car .
the stock spec's for the gen 1 CRX SI with the D15A MOTOR are 91 HP and 92 ft lbs torque and 1953 LBS stock power to weight is .047 per 1 LB .
the stock air box has been removed and the car has a header and free flow exhaust system . is it still at stock hp and torque now ? you really think so ???
when I was racing my VW 8v gti it was in ITB along with your car . so I guess I will then start running the vw in t30 also .

Re: NHMS-3 Videos
Dave, I was waaay below the mark for T40.
Here is what is done to the CR-X-
brake cooling ducts
Air filter on factory intake pipe (no factory airbox)
Exhaust header
straight through exhaust 2" from 1-3/4
No Cat
Cross drilled and slotted fr rotors- OE size
Carbotech pads
Carbotech shoes
Fr Koni ride adjustable shocks
Torsion bar fr suspension
RR Tokikco ride adjustable shocks
RR coilover springs
Poly bushings on most of the car
OE engine mounts
Fuel cell
external pump for fuel cell
205/50/14- Nitto NT01
You said there is an LSD- (not sure, but ok)
I believe that is all.- My car started with a negative power number. If there was T20, it would start there and build to T30. Not T40.
I can't help that I get great instruction and setup from you, and my instructors.

Re: NHMS-3 Videos
all I'm saying is the car was reclass wrong for what it is now .
it's not your fault but non the less the car is not a t30 car any more .
in the showroom assessment for the gen two SI it's wrong .
they 1st have the cars weight wrong at 2103 lbs for the SI . the weight they list is for the HF and DX only as they are of that weight but the SI is a heavier car (right out of the factory manual it's weight is 2174 ) checked on line and found the same .
did a power to weight for the gen 2 crx and it's .050 per one lb .
the power to weight for the gen 1 cars is .047 per one lb .
there was a DOHC motor 16v for the gen 2 CRX's si but they were on JDM cars only with a HP of 130 hp and 105 tork .
there are other things in the rules like front splitter size being more then 3.5 inches from the front of the car .
it has no bearing on your car but . I have a aerodynamics sim program I can take a splitter of that size 3.5" and under that size and they would give the same down force . it's not how far a splitter sticks out from the nose of a car that makes them work but the over all surface area and shape .
this brings me to when I designed the rear spoiler on your car . I ran a bunch of sim's and found the best height and angle for your car to give the most down force to the least amount of drag . the difference between the down force from your rear spoiler to a wing on your car as very close to the same . how ever the spoiler does add a little more drag by .002 over a wing .
I know your car has another 4 seconds a lap in it just as she sits now . all it will take is a better suspension set up to do so .
I told mark the same thing with his MGB last year at LRP . he did not think so but I proved him wrong and I got another 5 seconds out the his car with just some simple set ups .
so the car was reclassed into t30 with this level of mods just can't see it !
when you learn how to left foot brake trail brake heel and toe you will even get the car to turn a faster lap just from that .

HAha. Thanks for posting it! I told you, only 2 in the marbles. Cool to see video of the way I look from another car.
Yeah, trying to push and go faster- made me get sloppy.
