NHMS - 1 - some people need to convert reg to new class

Hi,
I have noticed while ordering trophies that 4 people need to fix their registration so that it is for one of the current classes (not legacy classes).
Names in registration list that appear to need fix: John Spain ( assume you are SD so no rush), Bill M, Tomasi, Nick E. I need to know what class you will run in so I can order enough trophies.

Also, please make sure not to forget to register. The deadline is this friday.

Hi Rebecca,

I noticed that to. Unfortunately some of them do not go on the forum. Three are long time members which will affect the trophy count if they TT. One is a student and may not get signed off to solo at TT so it may not make a difference.

If someone wants to go thru figuring out exactly what class he is now in, I can log into his acct. and change it ...... otherwise, someone will need to figure it out at the track.

There is a form in the rules section to figure out what class you will be in. Just start with the base and go from there. Or, contact some in the rules group to help you with it before the event.

Rebecca needs the information on the number of vehicles in each TT class so she can put the trophy order in. Even one car off in a group can make the difference of having the correct amount or being short.

Not to mention the registar that needs to correct the registration sheets and the chief instructor who determines the classes in each group depending on the numbers.

If we are very close to needing another trophy for a given class (such as if one more car will cause the need) then if I am suspicious that it will be needed I may just order it.
I already know what John Spain's class should be (same as Nate). If someone can even provide a wild guess for the others then I will use that info if the possible class is about to need another trophy.

Thats because of a couple of things. With the new rules and class changes many members do not go on the forum and are unaware of it. Several months ago the rules committee posted on the forum, before you sign up for an event this year, update your information so you are in the correct class. Obviously there are some who have not done this and they are not aware of how much extra extra work for the Registration, Trophies, Run groups, Treasurer, etc. has to be done to correct it for each event. If they were working on a committee and had to do it, I bet they would want everybody to have their information correct.

The only way to solve this is to have a blast email sent to everyone in the club and have them individually go in and correct it themselves. Unfortunately the trophy order has to be placed soon so there is a limited amount of time to do this. Otherwise you can only go with what you have and if you are short, them blame the members who have not signed up in the correct class.
