Mt. Tremblant Caravan Plan
Mt. Tremblant Caravan Plan
Shall the Boston-area crew meet somewhere along the way on 95N Wednesday, August 2nd? Having never been to Mt. Tremblant, meeting somewhere on 95N, say the rest stop in Concord between Rt. 2 and 4 would be good for me.
8 AM meet up, hopefully after fuel and food we leave by 9?
We are going to be driving North during rush hour on 95/93, but most of it is Southbound.
I'm open to alternatives.

Montreal?
NEVER go through Montreal after 2 PM. Or add 2 hours to your commute.
Stay south of the border and head West for the next entrance to Canada.

I do remember the traffic through Montreal as being awful last year - and I'm sure it was later than two.
I'm showing it as being a 7-hour trip to MT - so a 9-10am departure looks like the best idea to hit Montreal around 2.
My mapping sw is showing me going Mass Pike to Albany and then up 87 rather than going up 89. I'd go a little out of my way to hook up with others, I'm thinking Boston is really out of my way.

My trip last year ended up taking about 7 hours. It took me just over 3 hours to get to montreal, and 4 hours to get from montreal to MT. I dont think I got out of 1st gear till we were way outta town. Mind you this was at 9pm at night!
I think I'll leave a litter earlier this time.
