I was wondering the same thing last year, and I spoke to someone in Operations who said that the limit was "sustained sound no louder than 80dB measured one mile from the track". Apparently, that threshold hasn't been exceeded since the track went into operation.

Further research showed that racetracks are exempt from New Jersey's state noise ordinances, and that it was Millville that established the rule "restricting noise from the park from exceeding 80 decibels for 20 continuous minutes". The town ordinance was likely in response to the legal challenges filed by the residents behind trackracket.org, who are opposed to the noise coming from the track.

We had some issues at Thompsons this weekend. 100db is what I "heard" is the limit.
