Glad you guys made it home alright...nothing keeps me awake like my wife's griping about sitting in a racing seat for 6+ hours.
Here's my TT video...and associated racing excuses #571 and #685: tip toeing into T1 because of the clarified out-of-bounds rule and staring at the paint at the exit of T10 instead of lining up T11 properly...on both laps.
Definitely not my best performance. Lap 1 was slow like I usually am. Lap 2 I made a small mistake at T6 and over slowed the car. Lap 3 was actually my best potential lap but I really shot myself in the foot screwing up T1 so bad. I also pushed a bit wide at T7. I need to pull my braking zone back in T1 and power through it (like I did last year). I was going in too hot and having to lift to stay on the racing surface which killed my momentum. I should have looked at the data more during the event.
I wish my GOPro hadn't died for the 2:19.2 I managed on Monday afternoon in the cooler conditions.
The shift to 5th is hilarious, the speedo doesn't move lol. You're probably better off bouncing it off the rev limiter in 4th for a few seconds lol. How's it feel to top out about 30mph slower than last year? LOL

That shift was a mistake. We were doing it in practice just to be nice, 8100 rpm sounds like a struggle all the way down the straight. The speed really doesn't bother me too much as I go through the corners about the same or faster for about 1/10 of the cost of the STi.
