Glen Question
Glen Question
I got 2 e-mails from COM the first says we can get in to the track after 6 pm sunday the next says we can't get in untill monday morning
what is the correct info?
As we are planing to camp in the truck at the Glen, does any one know of a good place to park the night before as traveling all night to then racing all day is not something I want to try . Also my truck is too big to park in the holding area and as we found out last year Walmart down the street from glen does not have a truck freindly parking lot unless making a delivery.

Re: Glen Question
The last info I saw was that we have no access to the track until 6:15 AM on Monday morning.
I have no personal familiarity with the KOA that's ten minutes from the track, but I do know some drivers with big rigs who have stayed there without complaint: http://www.watkinsglenkoa.com

Re: Glen Question
Hi Bob: If go past the main gate and continue up the hill, at the top on the left side is the registration building. If you are camping you can park between the road and the building, if you are just dropping of your trailer or car, you can use the dirt parking lot across the street from the building. There is plenty of room for your truck and there is a rest room in a trailer with running ,cold only, water. I will see you there Sunday night.
ps; don't park on the cement area behind the building, that's a reserved area.

Re: Glen Question
Thanks Dan What time are you getting there?
Re: Glen Question
Bob: most of the time I'm there by 6:00 . It can get a little windy, you are on top of the hill. Some times the ladies room is locked but Laura can just use the mens room, the door locks .
