Pants rule

Post by eclip5e » Mon Jul 17, 2006 4:06 pm

I've designed a uniform for my pit crew that includes a tshirt and chaps with a silkscreen printed photo of my face on it that says "Ron is the tops!" under neath it.

Image

The 2 crew members (Jason Caroll and Craig Swinehart) want to know if chaps qualify as "pants" so they can drive on track with them on.

Thanks in advance.

I believe assless chaps only qualify as pants if you own a Miata. I recommend that young Mr. Carroll attend to any parts that may get exposed with a shaving blade. Or a weedwhacker.

Not that I have seen any of the said exposed parts.

I look forward to seeing these chaps assless.

If the chaps are made of fireproof materials, such as Nomex, it might be passed by the Board of Stewards as permissible on the track.

Ron, I'm starting to worry that giving you your license has unleashed something in you that the club may not be ready for- especially if it involves Raj in assless nomex pants

Maybe they should be racing around the streets of Provincetown in those pants

There is a such thing as "going too far" on the forums.

Keep in mind that a diverse group of people make up COM.

A good rule of thumb: Do not post anything that you wouldn't say in front of your mother, grand parents, children, etc.

Some of the avatars and posts of late have been questionable, and in the past I have received a few comments regarding whether or not they are appropriate for our forums. While I have no interest in censoring posts or activity, I think it would be helpful if we stay mindful of our post content.

If anyone has any questions on the above, feel free to contact me directly.

Will is getting a little uptight - he must be doing too much SCCA racing!! :D :D :D

BTW: Gordon and Will are within one point of each other in the NARRC ITA class. It's gonna be a throw-down!
