Free subwoofer cabinet for BMW

Post by cfossum » Sun Jul 28, 2013 2:33 pm

Big bass has never been so easy to come by, nor is it something I ever really wanted in my wife's slammed M3.
The story is that we picked up a used E46, and it had been outfitted by the previous owner with custom sound, lights, and lowered suspension. Half of the trunk was taken up with amps and an enormous custom subwoofer cabinet. I've removed it from the vehicle and I want to give it away to someone who has an appreciation for such things.
It has two 10" Orion subs and is constructed of 3/4" plywood and 3/4" lexan. Well made by East Coast Customs, someone paid big bucks for this thing. Does anyone know some kid who would want this? Price is about as low as I'm willing to go. Free. They can have the associated amp too. It's a Rockford-Fosgate something or other.

I'll come get it this week Carl...just let me know when. I live 5mins from you. Late week will be better, as I'm moving the in-laws on Mon/Tues. Consider it gone.

Wouldn't you know it, but I posted it on Craig's list a week ago and got no response until tonight, about a half hour after I put it on the com forum.
The guy is supposed to come get it tonight, but if he's a no show then it's all yours cy.

Bummer. I go by your place a few times per week, as your road is my "put baby to sleep" loop up in the clouds. It was 10* cooler up there during the heat wave last week! Dark grey minivan stalking your house...

Sorry man, but I did get $50 for it.
Haven't noticed any suspicious vans driving by lately, I must not go outside enough. If you see the third garage bay open then that means I'm working on my car, feel free to stop in.
