We should send a note to the local gas station to have their tanks full of 94, last time they ran out which was inconvenient.
I like having room to bring 45G of gas with me :-)
Supposedly they can impose an import duty on that much but I have never been bothered by up to 25 gal. I am always ready to argue that it is race gas not road use.

We are at 40 registered.

There are some COM regulars registered in the bunch now. I would expect a spike just after registration opens for the COM event. I set a limit of 75 cars for the open format thing with ne-svt. 35 more than what we have seems attainable, especially since we are talking about three days including the COM event.

As it was with the Track and Time folks, having access to yet another group of people may make it much easier to do away events in the future....except in the case of the ne-svt folks...it really is all COM.

I cannot wait for this event!

Thank You TroyV and anyone else involved getting this 3 day event set up.

P.S. Anyone have 6.5' x 2' of floor space for my unrolled sleeping bag (and me in it)?

I'm going to cap this at 60 cars.

We are not far from that mark.

Register now, or sit in the paddock and watch everyone else get practice time but you.

Any idea if there is a place local to the track that can mount tires?
My practice set is close to done, but not quite there yet. I'm not sure they would last 2 days but don't want to take them off till they are done.

I am in the exact same boat.

Troy/Sam can you confirm the rumor that there is a tire guy on site for all three days (Sat/Sun/Mon)?

We were told that there is a guy, but that he needs to be prebooked.... I'm not sure what that means. I'll ask about it, but I think it might be more useful for this guy to be available during the COM event.

I'm in the same boat, probably need 1 set changed out somewhere on day 2.

I think as long as we say there is a need, they can have the guy there for us.

There is a shop onsite that can do tires and some repairs. It was staffed for this last weekends event, although I am not sure if they are there all the time.
I am sure Sam can confirm that with the track.

The track is still abrasive ( Left front tire takes the most abuse )

Thanks for the info DJ. Will cut/paste into my Calabogie event notice. I will check with Jane on the tire guy/repair shop.
Before that though, DJ says there is a Jazz festival in town on the week we are there. Better get you hotels reserved! Ya might want to call the track, as they have luxury suites right there. Around $200/ night, probably sleep four.
