This is not the only one...
I think there is STILL MANY who have not gone to their registration site profile and changed their old classes into the new one. That said, the classes will ONLY pertain to those actually participating in the TT event.
Bob "Shake N Bake" is the Trophy Chair is having a hard time figuring out and this will affect trophy count so this is a good plea for all to check your registration site profile and make the necessary updates please.

I believe if you have any questions on classification first check the rules, use the spreadsheet to recalculate your points and if still any questions you can post in the RULES blog or contact Nick (username: blindsidefive0)

Re: who if any one is checking the new classing of cars ?
I've emailed all the people that have obviously incorrect registration information. If anyone else sees their own information listed incorrectly please contact me so we can get the correct class counts. parsonschris gmail com.

Re: who if any one is checking the new classing of cars ?
Many thanks to Chris for pro-actively contacting those that registered BEFORE they updated their profile information
You should all (Those registered for NHMS-1) be seeing an email from me requesting a copy of your classification sheet sent to my yahoo email mailbox. Some of you may have already been working with our scrutineers to answer questions and complete the sheets
My goal is to have copies of everyone's sheets BEFORE registration opens, to minimize the scrambling at the track. These copies will be available at the track for reference and review by anyone that asks.
If you have questions still on your sheet, please send them to "rules@copmscc.org" ASAP so we can get you taken care of. And of course we'll have plenty of folks around both days to help.
Thanks Tom

Re: who if any one is checking the new classing of cars ?
Hi Tom,
If they are not sure regarding filling out the new classification sheet they can always discuss it with one of the members of the rules committee, especially if they are either near the bottom or the top of the class they feel they are in.
As far as trophies we should be all set.
And actually the trophies position is not a crap job. Its only crap if you want it to be. If you have a good positive attitude you can always make it better and not blame everybody else for issues or problems. Since I have taken over in 09 things have run pretty smooth and all it took was some planning and some effort. Also, the trophy company is great to work with and they have been very accommodating and deliveries have been on time with the schedule we worked out. Now, I will be looking for an assistant this year to work with me and then take over next year. The commitment is about 1-2 hours per event and passing them out at the end of the Time Trial to the winners. Also, needed is about 2-3 hours for the Annual Banquet.
If you feel you would like to try something else, you can work with me on ordering the Dash Plaques for each event. Again, the plan is set and I will go over it with you.
Since the COM BBQ's have taken quite a bit of time in the preparation and there are a lot of hungry mouths to feed at each event I would need to devote more time to it.
If you would like to get more involved with the club and want to help, this could work with a flexible schedule.
You can contact me at each event if interested.

Re: who if any one is checking the new classing of cars ?
the way the club used to order the trophies was just dumb and it was a crap job !
now because all the trophies are the same and you just add a plaque it does make it a much easer job than the old way .
it was a total guess on what to order and only the people that had to do it the old way knows how it was .
i wil have to say the trophies are not as nice as the old ones but it's much cheaper for the club to do it this new way . you now still have to guess but it's better to over order a 2 dollar plaque to stick on trophies that are all the same than to over order the hole trophie .
the trophie CO if they are the same were great to deal with how ever they did screw up twice on me .
once they put the wrong dates on all the ones for a NHMS event and then they also totaly **** up the montecllo ones . but they fixed them the down side is they could not get them all replaced in time for the events .
but all this is very off topic from what this posting is for !
poeple need to dubble check to be sure your car is in the right class if you need help you can just get ahold of any one of us scrutineers and we will help you out classing your car .

Re: who if any one is checking the new classing of cars ?
In reality it was not how the club ordered the trophies ( blame ) it was the responsibility of the chairman to make the decision with the approval of the board.
yes every once in a while there is a mix up but I do not blame somebody else. I take the responsibility and get it fixed.
End of this conversation......

The rest of us are grateful for the job Bob has done, especially the positive way he has gone about it. I am sure his apprentice-to-be will continue that tradition.

Quite frankly - You just don't get it....
You really don't bring anything to the club except negative crap. You whine about everything, complain about everything, blame everybody else for your problems, and if you do not think so.. re read your postings.
and as far as calling me dumb...
I would consider it being more competent...and if your not sure what it means here it is:
"having suitable or sufficient skill, knowledge, experience, etc. for a purpose. properly qualified.
Reference; He is perfectly qualified to manage the trophy presentation
Skills which I believe you lack.
So if you want to call someone dumb, try a mirror next time.
