I haven't done one in quite some time. If its not wet I would like to go to scrub in tires, bed brakes, and such.
1) The COM License printed from the web site gets me in, right?
2) How much for 1/2 day vs. full day?
3) I know there will be an SCCA event that weekend, is the morning less likely to be full of SCCA crazies?
4) What time does "registration" open?
I understand flagging is sparse and its pass at will. Anything else to be aware of?

2) $150 full day, $100 afternoon only.
3) Yes...especially since it'll be a Thursday. And we're not all that crazy. It's open passing so expect to be passed going into corners if you're off the pace.
4) Cars typically don't go on track until 9am...not sure of when registration opens.
Flag stations 1, 3, 5 and 8 are usually occupied. You'll be running NASCAR turns 1+2. Have fun! It's the cheapest track time you can get with experienced racers.
(I'll be up Friday to instruct with the SCCA school)

Re: Thursday 5/23 Open Practice Questions
Does anyone know if NHMS does sound readings on the test days? I'd like a 2nd opinion (other than my android app).
[Edit: The track will take a dB reading if they think your car is too loud (or you ask them nicely), otherwise not.]

Re: Thursday 5/23 Open Practice Questions
With the stands and hard surfaces everywhere, I wouldn't be surprised if NHMS yielded the highest reading a car could produce, assuming the same distance from the meter.

I don't think there is anyone taking sound on test days Fred.
