I just realized I'm going to Test & Tunes at NHMS tomorrow and at Lime Rock on Tuesday, and all I've got is my 2012 Competition License. I looked at the 2013 license on the registration site, and it doesn't say Competition License, it says Time Trialing License.
Does anyone know if a Time Trialing License printed off the website will get you into NHMS on a test day - or if NHMS will accept a Competition License from the previous year? I'm pretty certain Lime Rock is going to insist on a Competition License, as they have in the past. I'll try them tomorrow to see if the 2012 license will be accepted.
Are the printed 2013 licenses going to say Time Trialing License or Competition License on them - anyone know?

Re: 2013 Competition Licenses
NHMS will let you do test days but LRP will not .
the time trial part of the licenses should be removed .
there is no reason for it to say that and it does keep some out from going to LRP on test days .

Re: 2013 Competition Licenses
NHMS was fine with the 2012 license.
Lime Rock wants you to present a wheel-to-wheel racing competition license, but the guy at the gate is not equipped to vet the issuing organization's rules when you hand the card over. My guess is we can still get into Lime Rock as long as we have a current year card with 'Competition License' on it. I may go back to club race school to get another competition license as Lime Rock is a very useful place for me to test, and I'd like to be sure I can run their test & tune days.
