Sam -- you are reading the registrations wrong, there are about 50 people signed up so far, about the same that had signed up at this time last year. Many of the 33 registrations are for more than one person. The club subsidizes the cost of the meal for the members. We only charge $25/person yet it costs about $40/person.It makes for an inexpensive and enjoyable night out. Such a deal :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

So who's bringing your Sangria?

At first, it was looking like the banquet was the next weekend not this one.....besides...I thought you didn't drink Les..

I have half a case steeping in the fridge if someone wants to come by and grab some before I leave on Friday.

"it was looking like the banquet was the next weekend not this one.." Reminds me of the time I showed up for an autocross at Devens one fine summer morning. I saw all these Porsches..and new faces...it wasn't until I unloaded and got into the tech line..and someone came up to me to inform me my Miata was NOT a Porsche..that I realized my mistake.. I was a week early.... (no,they didn't ask me to stay... )

I am surprised that we don't have a lot more people signed up yet. This is one of the few times that we can get together and socialize without lots of work to do (prep car, fix car, time to get on track, meeting agenda). It is the time of year when we can all start getting really excited about the next year and discuss our winter projects and reminisce about last summer. I expect a high turnout because it is going to be fun!

see you there!

I twisted my wife's arm (ie: begged, pleaded and prayed) and she agreed to come this year. WOW! I told her the better half of The Bakers, The Wasilkos, the Fossums, the Velasquez and so on were going so DON"T QUIT ON ME NOW or I'll have to sleep with my chickens ... they are NOT VERY GOOD LOOKING!!!

What I say Dan, 33 signed up (didn't say how many would be there lol.)
Troy, I am glad I didn't tell my date about your sangria. She would have been upset if it wasn't there!
Stefan, Will Wendy deliver you to my place for the ride down? Dan might need a date, so bring one of those chicks for him.
