Hot Lap Ride-Along age requirements

I should know the answer to this question but I don't - what(if any)are the minimum age requirements for a person to be able to take a Hot Lap Ride-Along? If it is less than 18 does the parent simply sign a "waiver" document?

I had heard (from perhaps an unreliable source) that the age for the HLRA had been dropped to 16. Earlier this year, I was assigned to take out a 17 year old. But she looked 18, honest!

COM's age requirements for Ride Alongs
Current club age limit is 18. We have had a request to allow younger ride-alongs. The consensus is that this should be address in the annual rule discussion.
