2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT - Duramax Diesel This truck is fully loaded including factory GMC navigation. It has the Duramax diesel and bullet proof Allison transmission.
  • 6.6L Duramax Turbo Diesel (LLY) - 305hp @3000rpm / 605 lb·ft @1600 rpm
  • Allision 6 speed transmission
  • SLT package, fully loaded
  • Extended cab
  • Factory navigation system
  • Bose premium stereo
  • Dual zone climate control
  • Heated Seats
  • Heated, auto folding, auto dimming mirrors with integrated turn signals
  • Automatic headlights
  • OnStar
  • XM
  • Push button 4x4 selection
  • Locking rear differential
  • Towing package
  • Dual batteries
  • Factory tinted windows
  • Sliding glass rear window
$1200 in aftermarket parts included: The truck gets great mileage. On the highway it will get 19-22mpg no problem if you keep it around 65mph. Towing my car on an open steel trailer I usually get 15-16.

Mechanically the truck is perfect and has been 100% reliable. It has new brakes, tires and alignment within the last 4k miles. I have a documented service history to go along with it. All filters including transmission, oil and fuel were changed with every service.

The paint looks great and the truck cleans up very well. There are some flaws.
  • Typical stone chips along the leading edge of the hood
  • A small tare in the tonneau cover where ice fell off the house and poked through. My duct tape repair has held up well for 2 years but you may want to replace the cover if you want the truck to appear perfect.
  • There was a dent in the right rear quarter behind the wheel where someone backed into me when parked. I had it repaired by a paintless dent removal company. The repair looks good but is not perfect (see pictures). There are some very slight ripples which are hardly noticeable unless you're looking for them.
Note: The photos and video were taken eralier this spring which is why there is some snow on the ground, and in the video the odometer shows 69k miles. The last photo shows the current mileage of 74,382
