R6 hoosiers
i am thinking of selling my R6 hoosiers i ran at NHMS 3 for 3 run sesions . they do not work for my Daisio i can not build the heat needed in the tires . they are size 225 / 50 - 15" . make me an offer .
Re: R6 hoosiers
What size are you thinking about going with in order to get heat in the tire...a smaller 205/50/15?

Re: R6 hoosiers
i can only run a full slick on the diasio in size 23.0 X 9.5 -15' bias or a 10" wide radial .
i talked with dan at hoosier NE and he told me i could run the R6's on a car that as light as the diasio is at 926 lbs dry that they would be just fine . but when i talked to hoosier HQ on monday jeff there told me i should have went with the A6 and not the R6's i was sold . the A6 would not be a problem jeff said because of the weight of my car they would act more like what i was used to with a full slick tire because they would build the heat in them and would last and not over heat in road racing .
the r6's on my car was just like driving on ice the car just did what ever it wanted to as soon as i put the R45B slicks back on the car my lap times dropped 11 plus seconds and the car felt as it should . the down side is the slicks i put on are used up and i could not do the TT on sunday because they were just shot . i may just hang onto the R6's untill next year and use them on the porsche 948 ? but because of the cost of slicks i may just sell them and use some of that money to get the needed slicks . i may just find some used slicks to do the last 5 events this year ? i just don't know what i'm going to do at this point .
