E36 BMW For Sale, safe fun car, use for Com or SCCA ITS/ITR
Sold
Looking at moving back to Australia next year so the BMW goes up for sale.
Car has been looked after by 3D Autoworks in NH for the past year and is up there now for a fix on the oil/power steering leak that popped up this last weekend, will be fixed before it's sold.
Price is 11K with everything except the new gearbox and Data system.
+1K for the data system and +1K for an additional rebuilt gearbox.
Car is fun to drive and would be fast with the right driver (I tend to take it easy), a few other people have driven it and came back taking about how balanced and fun it is to drive.
Chassis and safety:
1994 E36 BMW.
8 point SCCA legal cage with x bar in rear, nascar door bars for driver and x bars for passanger, x in rear downtubes, additional roof bar, dash bar, additional cross bar for harness mounting for taller drivers.
All chassis re enforcements welded in.
20 gallon fuel cell mounted in trunk, new bladder in 2010.
Halon fire system with 2 nozzles on driver and 1 in engine bay.
Electrical cut out switch.
2010 Sparco Pro Advanced drivers seat with halo protection, welded to chassis/cage.
2011 Cobra Monaco passanger seat on VAC mount.
Schroth 6 point Profi belts for driver and passanger (expire next year)
Has a current SCCA logbook with last annual tech done in 2011. Would need the engine swapped for a 325 to be IT legal but other than that everything is good (this was an IT car before I purchased it).
Brakes :
Rebuilt front calipers installed May 2012.
SS lines
Brake ducts in front bumper with new hoses to adapters on the back of the hubs (not sure which ones but they work fine and are a nice blue color ...).
New rotors installed Mar 2012 + spare new front and rear rotors included.
Hawke DTC pads front and read (70% left) + 4 sets of used HT10 pads, 20-40% left on each included.
Suspension:
Ground Control race coilover kit (Double adjustable, camber/caster plates, nitrogen filled), rebuilt in 2010 + full rebuilt kit supplied as a spare for when they need a rebuild.
Ground Control adjustable sway bars.
All bearings and bushings replaced with sperical bearings.
Engine :

UUC oil cooler
RRT race cooling system, large aluminum radiator, euro resevior etc, electric fan on a switch.
Transmission :
Getrag 5 speed + Bimmerworld Getrag rebuit transmission available as a spare.
RRT /Diffsonline race diff, polished gears etc, connection point for diff temp monitor + spare diff.
New clutch installed May 2012.

4 Kosei 15x8 wheels with 225/45/15 Hoosier R6 tires (7 heat cycles, lots of tread left)
4 15x7 wheels (unsure of type) with 225/45/15 Toyo RA1 (40% tread left)

Other :

Re: E36 BMW For Sale, safe fun car, use for Com or SCCA ITS/
David, we are sorry to see you move back to the other side of the earth. Will the car be on display and available for test drives at WGI...?
To all the potential buyers out there (there are a bunch of you who know who you are), this is a great, reliable, fun, and safe car.

Yes, say it gets lifted, does that mean you're stuck here with us?

No one can afford to live in Australia anymore, who are you kidding? It's like Silicon valley was in the late 90's, million dollar houses, high cost of living ... the upside is of course the weather is great and you can race year round.
