Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a sold out event this weekend, so as a favor to your acting Chief of Tech, please help me out:
1- Take a a few minutes this week and "pre-tech" your own car. Print a copy of the rules, bring them out to the garage ,and read them while looking over your car. There's plenty of things you can find and correct now that will help us keep the line moving.
2- Take a good look at your tires. Reference the top of page 8. Any damage to the sidewalls ( cuts, bubbles, DRY ROT) will get you a ticket home. Remember, you're pushing these donuts at 90+mph in the oval, a failure there means diminished track time for the rest of us. Oh yeah, you might get hurt too. And the track will bill you for the damage to their wall.
3- Your safety equipment must be installed and ready to use when you come to Tech. A box of belts and the promise to have them installed "right away" isn't going to do it. Also remember, the same or better equipment for the instructor's seat is REQUIRED.
4- PLEASE come to Tech with your numbers and class on the car, and glass lights taped. Do the numbers the night before, there' aren't any cops on the road at 6AM to see you speeding by anyway.
Thanks in advance!

Any possability we can grab a tech inspector Friday night if one is around and get an early sign off to reduce the que in the morning?

If any of the regulars are there the night before, you can ask. But you'll still need to present your tech sheet;I don't know if Mark is planning on being there Friday night.
