NICE NUMBERS and LETTERS for your RACE CAR

Post by StephanAlfa » Tue Aug 07, 2012 12:49 pm

I am taking liberties to "advertise" on behalf of Image4 (http://www.image4.com/ ) and perhaps a great solution for making your car look a LOT cooler on track. As you know our good friends Jeff B. and Liz run the biz there.
Rather than using carpenter's blue tape, shoe polish, etc., consider this material than you can stick-on and remove when not on track. Great for cars used in dual mode (street/track) like mine.
Here is a couple of pictures of the product "in action" at Mosport. One is an external membrane that I place on the hood (did not fly off at top speed on Andretti straight  ) and the one that goes inside the window.
Certainly it makes your car look sharper, cooler and who knows faster?

Liz and Jeff are great, and so are those numbers.

That said, are you sure they comply with the rules? ;)

Yes I copied the rules and specs to them, complies with min size requirements. I also recall rules not allowing shoe polish

Perfect! I had a feeling that you double-checked, and that Image4 would get it right. :)

by the rules no the class is not of a contrasting color . the B is washed out by the back ground . also the class letters have to be of 4' HIGH OR HIGHER /bigger. are they ? the numbers have to be 8" or higher / bigger .
but it's more than ok our club president and chief scrutineer only have 3" class letters on there car . so does it meen if some one protested them do you get DQed ? NO ! you would have to DQ many others as well if that was the case .
