Holy Crap!
Holy crap is right! Holding some good speed through the fast corners and acceleration off the slow corners is very impressive! Might be time for the full cage ...

Yes, please get out of SPB so the rest of with half the power can half a chance :P

Great driving Chad, thing must be a beast. I would think you have a good shot at FTD at WGI as well. Congrats!

I tried to run the over the top of the crest before turn 8 while still on power but the car didn't settle in time to get into the brakes enough. It was a sketchy maneuver that I repeated 3 time and all 3 time almost shot off the track so i came to the decision that it wasn't right for me or the car. I had to brake before the crest then ease off over then settle and brake more before turn in, you can hear the brake squeal as proof.

Not to sound like a D**k but you must remember this is a registered car that i drive on the street (note: Navigation System) and a full cage might not put me out of SPB as you all hope. I just follow the rules, I don't write them. Also, we will all have a problem if/when the other ballistic missile comes to SPB.

^A full cage won't take you out of any class, and they are encouraged!
As I initially watched your video,I heard the brakes being applied in various spots and thought it was overly cautious...until I glanced at your speed...

Well done on the FTD/most consistent award and 1st in class! Some street car..! :D :sunny:

I know you are within the rules, you needed to be teched for track records and whatnot. I was just busting your balls. I honestly would get a cage if I had your car. You mentioned it isn't your daily and you trailor it so what's stopping you? With the power and speeds you can hit in that, a rollbar may not be sufficient. It would stiffen the chassis quite a bit as well.. Obviously it's your decision what you do, I am just putting my two cents in. What is this Ballistic missile you speak of?

I know your just busting my balls... I agree that i should get a full cage and have every intention of doing so for a winter project along with full aero upgrade. Mosport got me thinking about a full cage even more than I already have. The Ballistic Missile is the thread about coming back after a tough year.

My suggestion for the cage was purely one of concern for your safety, especially at a place like Mosport where there are high speeds and big unguarded walls. An yes, as Mark said you can have a cage in any class without penalty, in fact the rule book encourages them. Definitely sounds like you are having the right thoughts though as far as upgrades, and the Nav system would be really handy going round a track like nordschleife. :)

Regarding the braking at the end of the straight, it makes sense. I was just going off the telemetry comparison, and most of the time you were equal in braking and occasionally a bit better. Just on that one corner the deceleration line was a lot less steep, but given that due to the speed you had to brake before the crest, it does make sense.

Definitely impressive, and looks like you are in the running for the overall drivers champ! Your class mates totally boned you on points by not showing up though. Sorry  Let's try and get a good SPB turn out of the next one to make up some points for you.

You need to insert the little rubber piece. It should have come with your kit.
I have this piece but it seems it is only for when you use one of the adhesive mounts that you click into. I am using the suction cup mount on the inner side of my rear windshield which does not utilize the clicking mechanism.
I get that same clicking from the helmet clips and the HANS. I have the quick release clips and they hit the helmet when I turn my head. No clicks when the GoPro is mounted in the nose of the car.

Hey Nate.....I think you need to make Chris a Mouskateer. I'd gladly give up my seat for him. He has this shit down.
