Its time for me to upgrade as I am snell 95. My last helmet was actually a motorcycle helmet (Arai rx7rr4). Can anyone reccomend a full-face helmet Snell 2005 that has great ventilation? For shape, I have more of a Arai shaped head than a Shoei head. My budget is $500 or less.
I see saferacer has this helmet on sale..

Someone in the COM club owns saferacer, right?

I think you may be thinking of Drivers Supply; https://www.driversupply.com/
A good local (to me anyways) to try helmets on; http://www.hmsmotorsport.com/
I have an "Aria" noggin for the bike as well. Bell had the best fit with a reasonable price in a SA lid for me.

I had a Bell and bought a Simpson this year. A black Super Bandit SA2000 was under $500 from DriverSupply- got my Hans there also. John and Nate own the company and the prices are fixed everywhere- so you might as well throw them the business. Shipping was free and I had no tax in MA. I'm thrilled with the helmet. Plus this helmet gives you that Darth Vader look to boot.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have been looking around and I really like the Arai GP-5W Auto Helmet. Its so expensive though.. John is going to see if he can possibly locate one fro me. I'd rather throw them the business as well.
Part of the reason I'm going Arai is that I know it will fit me - I currently use an Arai helmet (rx7rr4 snell 95). I also like the large eyeport, lightweight and (hopefully) good ventilation. This helmet was designed for sedan driving.
Does anyone here have an Arai gp-5 based helmet?
