e36 M3 track pads/rotors

Post by betelgeuse » Fri May 11, 2012 1:05 pm

I have a full set of Performance Friction 06 compound pads and Bimmerworld premium rotors for the BMW e36 m3.
Used only 3 events. These pads last forever. $350 for everything.

Interested...a couple questions:

Will these rotors work with stock US spec e36 M3 calipers?
Did you use this pad/rotor combination together? If so, are the pad/rotor a good match (e.g. no issues with prior pad deposit build up)?
Are the rotors straight and true (e.g. no warping)?
The pics look good, but are pretty small - are there any micro-cracks forming or discoloration due to heat?
Why are you selling? Any issues or are you upgrading to some monster brake kit or something?

Can you bring these to NHMS-1 for pickup? I would prefer to pay you via paypal which we can do whenever...or let me know if I should bring cash.

(1) Yes. I had used them on my US spec 99 m3 when I ran in SSA last year.
(2) Yes. I bought both the pads and rotors new and never ran any other pad on the rotors.
(3) Yes I believe they are true. I never felt any vibration.
(4) No heat checking. Link to closeups (not the greatest pictures). http://s1117.photobucket.com/albums/k58 ... %20rotors/
(5) Sold the m3.
I can bring them to NH at the end of the month. Cash is good. Let me know. email me at loupis2@yahoo.com
Thanks,

BTW, sad to see such a beautiful example of an M3 move on...what are you replacing it with?
