Those 'vettes may be fire breathing......but.....Chris Parsons continues to impress with his SPB 370Z! Class win AND FTD!
Seriously the 'vettes are awesome cars in their own right.

Thanks guys! I think tires trump horsepower in those kind of conditions, although in all fairness Mike's session was wetter than mine, but definitely still quite wet.

It was my first time driving on track with the track full wet and the first time using the Hoosier H2O's, I must say those tires give you a lot of wet grip and a lot of confidence. The practice session before the TT was very much appreciated since the 3rd practice got cancelled, I think it was a very wise decision for safety's sake. Exploring the track for grip during the TT wouldn't have been much fun.

Had a great time and we had a great variety of hardware running out there. The sound of those 2 Corvettes running together down the front straight was something else.

Forgot to say thanks to Scott at Fastrack for an awesome last minute alignment and tire mountings. Scott's alignment's are responsible for countless class championships, driver championships, pretty impressive track record!

Hey! The last time I shot fire out of my tailpipe, I was accused of not running a cat

They were in PA, so no cats are required. :)

Congrats Chris. That is awesome you got FTD. One day I will try a set of Hoosier wets. Everyone says they are amazing. Was Mike Geldhart on Hoosier wets. I would think that GTR with wets and Mike driving would be nearly impossible to beat in the rain.

No, he bolted on his stock wheels and tires. Full tread depth but still not really designed for full wet conditions. The stock wheel size is 20", but I think 19's clear, not sure about 18's. That's one of the biggest problems with that car is finding tires that will fit.

Once you try Hoosier wets ,there is no going back to a street tire. They really are amazing. (Hoosier has a few sizes on sale, free shipping.. https://www.hoosiertire.com/discontinuedtires.htm )

Congratulations Chris and all those who were able to do the Summit Point event. :sunny:

Frank--- If I remember correctly-- at the last Com Lime Rock event several years ago, your car's "flames" almost burnt my front bumper off :D :D :D
