Scrutineers can only rely on existing rules to determine legality in class. If put to a protest vote,I would have to allow any gear ratio, from any year, from any differential, that was available as OEM, in ST classes, based on the way the existing rule is worded. It is up to the Board of Directors to keep "creep" from happening in every class by voting for rules that keep this "creep" under control. Any member can submit a rules change to help keep classifications as "founded". For the record Sam,I agree with you on keeping the stock class rules more in line with using the stock equipment..

I agree with Sam as well, There's no way some of these cars should be in the classes that they are in, makes no sense...

the "sense" of these cars was debated at length in the Board meetings open to the members in the late fall. Next time, this coming fall.

I know what your saying Bruce, have the excel spread sheet from Nate explaining the changes made in classes for different cars :-)
