Re: Rule Decision
So I guess the BOD thinks the Ariel Atom is a mass produced automobile and the intent of showroom stock includes kit cars. Un...believable.

Maybe you should run for a seat on the board.

Mark, do you really think I'm afraid of you guys that own an AA. Most of the time I beat your PB AA with my lowly 15 year old SPB Car.....but that's not the point.breakaway500 wrote:"So I guess the BOD thinks the Ariel Atom is a mass produced automobile and the intent of showroom stock includes kit cars. The AA does not belong in any SS class. If someone does enter a AA in a TT in SSU and doesn't win... I think he should turn in his/her license/solo privileges and go back to group 4 and start all over again.

Re: Rule Decision
If you think the Ariel Atom is SO fast, why not buy one and whip everyones ass? I honestly believe you are the Atoms biggest "closet" fan...
Me? I just like the car for what it is,not what someone thinks it is..

Re: Rule Decision
There have been cars (E30 M3) that - from the factory- were deemed ineligible for SS. The BoD made a judgment call in this case as in others where there is a basis to find fault, but unless you show up and either serve on the board or attend the meeting, it is - at best - off-season forum chatter.
Can't wait for the season to open, hope to shave another 2-5 seconds now that my motor is broken in
