Are those dyno numbers at the wheel, or the crank? Either way that sounds like a major improvement over your previous motor.....but if those are at the wheel then that thing will be tough to keep the tires on the ground

Engine Dyno .. so at the crank .. will be hard enough even at that ........

I think you need wider rear rubber,so those V710 295's will be useless for you... :wink:

Have you given any thought to a turbo running moderate boost to get that torque curve flattened out a bit more? Should be good for a coupla 10ths coming out of the Toe & the Bowl; wouldn't hurt starting up the long straight at Mosport either! :lol:

no power adders for me ... simple carb, mech. fuel pump & MSD ... more than enough to get a 2800 lb car & driver combo in trouble just as it is esp. w/ a jump from a little 345hp FMS crate motor w/ 20K miles and 60 Open track events on it ...

400ft.lbs at 2500rpms..what's not to like? :P That car should pull very hard and smoothly with that powerband. Not quite Cummins torque,but pretty close... :lol:

yep ..... 400 ftlbs right off the bottom .... even that little is more than the old motor had on a very good day .....
