Free: wind deflector from Freightliner truck

Post by jeffw » Sun Jan 01, 2012 2:28 pm

I've switched to a different deflector and would like to find a good home for the old one:

I've got all the mounting hardware as well.

The previous owner installed the deflector incorrectly and they damaged the cab roof, which caused it to leak. I had the roof repaired and the body shop advised me not to stress the repaired roof with the deflector.

That thing would be great on an open trailer if it could be mounted and safely secured.

Agreed. Anyone want it? I'd hate to see it end up in the dump!

Got specs on how long/high/wide it is? I wonder if I could bolt that thing to the tongue of my trailer...

It's 80" wide at it's widest (the base if you're putting it on the front of an open trailer). It's 60" high and 38" deep in that configuration.

Ain't gonna fit on my trailer but it could make a good dog house.
