Grand Prix

Post by brucesallen » Sat May 06, 2006 1:13 pm

Warner Home Video has announced that John Frankenheimer's classic 'Grand Prix' will be released in the US on July 11, 2006 in a Two Disc 40th Anniversary Special Edition. GP Cover Art 2 DVD Special Features will include four never before seen documentaries and the archival film 'Grand Prix: Challenge of the Champions', taking viewers behind the scenes of '60s Formula One racing. The restored 65mm film will be released in widescreen format with a re-mastered Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. To reserve your copy of Grand Prix from the first shipment on July 11, fill out the Secure Order Form at www.PutGrandPrixOnDVD.com.

It's gonna look great on my HD 108 inch screen. I have had the VHS version since Beta went out of style. You are all invited.

Hi Bruce. Let me know when you will be screening the movie. Are driving suits required wear? Will bring own popcorn. Thanks, Grove

Wow - that sounds like the place to be for a movie screening!

Looking forward to getting this on dvd - perfect companion for 'Le Mans'.

Two classic race flicks.
