Hans Device versus Simpson Hybrid ?

I got my Simpson catalog and noticed they are promoting their hybrid neck restraint systems as an alternative to the Hans device. Has anyone any experience or knowledge of this Simpson device? What the various options to tether your helmet to your restraining device? Thanks,

This is what I have.
I chose it without much knowledge about the two other than I thought it was more comfortable (trying them on anyway) and it meets the same standard.
