Anyone have a good place to store a car and open trailer for the winter? The car + trailer just fits into a decent single garage for total size.
I might need some access to it since I just found #5 cylinder spark plug full of oil and even after fixing this there is a missfire or something on another cylinder so it might have to go in and out from the shop to storage once or twice.

NHMS is offering space ($100/mo).

Re: Winter car storage
just hung up with nhms, from the end of next week to the end of march is 5 months and is also the MAX amount of time you can store it. the car will be accessible over the winter time during normal business hours. the rate is 100/mo or if you prepay it is 400 for the 5 months.
pretty sweet deal.

Re: Winter car storage
update:
you can NOT do any mechanical work in the garage.
there are a total of 48 spots available and i got #8 so there are 40 spots left.
EDITED: NHMS requires you to have insurance on the car, if it is kept on a trailer the trailer does not need insurance. they want a copy of the policy and if your renewal falls during the storage months you will need to fax or mail the new policy to them when it renews.

I assume NHMS has no insurance coverage on your car for any potential damage.
What did tbey say about coverage?

Re: Winter car storage
Two years ago, I stored my STI New Hampshire Public Storage in Franklin, NH. They were cheap. Something like 80 a month and you can have access during regular business and on Saturdays. You can talk to the owner and tell them that you need access to the car and they will put it in the front. You can store your trailer there too. The place is kept at 55-60* all winter long. So it is heated. Here's the link for them:
