Door Bars in SP Class?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’d like to get a clarification on the cage/doorbar/window rules excerpted below. I assume this is a Nate question?

2011 RULES, REGULATIONS, AND CAR CLASSIFICATIONS

VI. Car Requirements
Page 9
5. In all classes, interior panels may be modified or removed in order to accommodate the installation of full roll cages.
This includes the modification or removal of door panels, window glass and lift mechanism to accommodate roll
cage door bars, even in classes that require such components Cars determined by the Stewards/Scrutineers to have
removed interior panels beyond the spirit of this rule will be bumped up one class. For guidelines of material
selection and construction practices, consult the Sports Car Club Of America (SCCA) General Competition Rules.
Cars with roll cages that are constructed to SCCA GCR or other recognized sanctioning bodies’ specifications are
not bound by the material selection criteria mentioned above.

headliner may be removed.
2. Roll bars and roll cages are highly recommended

What is “the spirit of the rule” for SP cars with door bars that intrude into the door shell?
Would a full depth door bar that necessitates stock glass removal bump the SP car up to P class?
Does Part VI trump Part XI by definition?

I intend to keep my stock glass if at all possible, but I would like to know the limits of the SP class rules.

From VI F 2 in the rules.
"In all classes, interior panels may be modified or removed in order to accommodate the installation of full roll cages
or roll bars. This includes the modification or removal of window glass and lift mechanism to accommodate roll
cage door bars"
Basically you can remove the door card/panel and optionally the glass as well but it is not necessary to do both.

Also note VI F 5.
