Thanks. I'm using a Traqmate with Traqstudio and I love it. For a camera I'm using a canon digital camera suction mounted to my back window. Next year I hope to have a better camera setup.

1.11 and they tell you the low, tight line through the oval is slow? I think you proved that a myth!

The higher line may be faster. I never tried it. Next year I'll give it a try :D

Here is my TT video:

I'm surprised my last lap was the best time; the front end didn't grip as expected for my last time through the oval which was more than interesting at the time...

I had a great time. Hoping to also work though some of the other footage and get it online.

"I'm surprised my last lap was the best time"..

Don't be. On good tires, a dash of Lady luck and some guile ( ) ...that's how it'l happen.. :D :sunny:

Your line looks consistent. I enjoyed the vid...and your car handles very well!

Thanks. I did actually take video of sessions 2-4 on day 1. I'll try to get them up and post them here over the next few days. I watched session 2 of the morning on Saturday and compared it with my TT laps Sunday afternoon. Talk about an improvement.

These are the rest of my videos from Sunday if anyone is interested. They do feature a few cars in my practice sessions (70 Boss Mustang, couple miatas, dinoracer, white RX7, and the open top mazda race car)

nateh driving my car. I found this extremely helpful in terms of confirming the line I was using and also how capable the car is. Thanks Nate!
We do over cook it into 11 near the end of the video:

My sucky lap video. Crazy to think this car has a 1:14 same config. I'll get there!!

http://vimeo.com/30461005

**And the low line in the oval is not slower, its CRAZY. Ive seen exactly 7 cars loose it there and smash into the wall at exit. The funky part is 3/4s of the way out.
I do it. Then i go to the bathroom after the race.

Bird's Eye View of 'the line' from my data.

The thickness of the line is a bit wider than my car, and Google Maps doesn't perfectly compensate for slight changes in elevation or the angle of the satellite image, so there are small differences, but it is pretty close.

The color of the line represents speed. Key is at top-left.

Note the entry into 3 is about as fast as the entry into the oval !
