Unfortunately I already have an oem clutch disk hanging around the garage. Is the quicker shifting and better durability worth buying the 4 puck over putting in the stock disk?

If you already have a stock disc,I would use it.Behind 100hp, it will hold up just fine.

Thats what I figured. Thanks for the advice. I'm itching to put the new clutch in, I just need to find the time...

An unsprung disc is lighter than one with springs in it. Lighter mean faster revving and less horsepower lost trying to spin the disc. I just removed my old ACT disc (to replace it with a new one) after 2 race seasons and the edges of the pad material were chipped and missing in multiple places. This is with virtually NO slipping (think heat) as would be common with a street application. That being said, I think the 4-puck unsprung would be perfectly streetable in a car like yours from the sound of it. Just something to think about for next time...

That's a curious question Troy. It is as if you are responding to a question that was never asked. ;)

That user's IP address traced back to Pakistan and his one and only post included a link for some type of business (which I didn't click). Besides, the question had nothing to do with this subject, however his post included one of the words in this subject title. None of it passed the sniff test.

I tried the flyin Miata de-power method on my 97 rack. The 97 rack is different from the one in thier photos and I was not able to remove the seal the way they described. After a couple of emails with the flyin miata guys, I gave up and went to Leos at Expoline for a replacement since I had already destroyed the rack I had. I don't know when the rack design changed, but I think they had a 91 in their pictures at flyin miata.
