COM at the SHOW!

Post by chaos4NH » Mon Aug 15, 2011 2:28 pm

Calling for volunteers!
Saturday, August 20th, 2011
COM will for the 3rd year be a Gold Sponsor for the Make A Wish Northeast Exotic Car Show hosted by the New England Viper Club.
Where? The Budweiser Brwery, Merrimack, NH
Time? Display setup starts at 730 AM. Show starts at 900AM.
Volunteers needed? For set up of display, for help manning the booth, assisting entries in the COM raffle of free ride arounds and grand prize of one Free track day. All winners are also awarded free COM membership.
I would like to have 5 members bring their cars for display. All out racers, street/ track cars, any run class!
We are situated in the center of the show with past response to our display and raffle bordering on fantastic.
All proceeds from the raffle go to the Make A Wish Foundation
To sign up to help, bring your car, or more information, please email me at comoperations@comcast.net
Thanks,
Sam Webster
Chief of Event Operations (and a volunteer like all the rest of us in the COM organization!)

Stefan, The biggest need is for help setting up the easyup, the monitor, amplifier and tearing it down. Early morning (730) would be a help and people to help out manning the booth could switch off, some until noon and some from noon to 300-330 when the show ends, then repack.
We are very fortunate to have Miguel for Velozmedia volunteer his plasma screens and tons of in car and track side video.
Any takers?

I helped Sam out last year -- it was pretty easy work and a good time.

Thanks Peter. There will be food there if you don't mind standing in line(s).
When you get there (if I am not out by the entrance) tell them you are part of the COM setup. Might save you $10.00. Same for any others bringing a car or helping with the kiosk.

Sam,

What did you say into that microphone to piss off Miss NH? She looks like she's getting ready to hit you.

I can be there in the morning to help set up. I will have the twins with me though (5yo) so I can usually only keep them entertained with something like that for a couple of hours.
