Since my engine bit the dust a couple of weeks ago, I have been doing some research and my new engine project is now underway. I am going to be replacing my entire bottom end with a balanced forged 383 stroker shortblock. I will be putting in a bigger cam, and a couple of other goodies. The bottom line is that it will be putting out about another 70 rwhp, and probably about 100ft-lbs more torque. Should be exciting....I expect parts to arrive aroud mid-may. So with any luck at all it should be ready for the July event at NHIS.
Fingers are crossed!
Rehabilitiation.....

Good luck Joel. You can always buy the baby the cheap diapers
With James Price playing in SPA until his "big" motor is ready in July (he's already faster than me most days), Mario finding more speed and you adding even more power- I might as well invite Greg back to the class...I'll bring up the rear. Oh well, got the championship when I could.
