Because of the expected low turn-out we don't expect the club to sponsor a dinner. I suggest a pot luck cookout after the first day's driving. Grills, boooze, meat and veggies need to be brought. And the track won't care a hoot!
PS: Weather will be great. Camping is great. Eh?
PPS: Don't come if you can't tolerate hundreds of miles of track time on a world renowned race course.

You can camp in anything there. And they have hot showers. I have driven into the nice shade trees up on the hill where it is quiet and slept in my pickup. Or you can bring your 50 ton 100 foot motorhome like some we know.

What about that french/italian place with the bar downstairs and dining room upstairs we went to a few years back? Is it still in business?

This will be my first COM event, and my first time at Mosport (a lot of firsts!). A potluck cookout sounds great to me, though as I will be squeezing everything I can into a Miata, don't expect me to show up with a grill, or watermelons, or anything bigger than a bag of cookies or something that can get wedged into the empty spaces in my car.

If I decide to camp out at the track, which I probably will, are there eating options at the track, or should I be prepared to fix my own three square meals a day?

The track concession stand is open for lunch. Trackburgers. If you travel a few miles thre is a general store. 18 miles for restaurant.
They usually have leaded and unleaded gas for sale at the track- but bring gold bullion bars, eh?

Mike pay with cc whenever possible. You are much more likely to get raped when you pay with US and the waitress converts in her head.

I will bring (4) 5 gallon gas cans- empty. Don't go over the border with full cans. I don't remember the mileage (probably the 15 miles Bruce says to the restaurant) but it is not very convenient for outside gas.

Silly amounts of track time are likely.

You can cook food on the vents in my hood after a 20 min session. Feel free.
