hmmmm good call. thanks for the heads up. I think I will call dibs on that, even if it has flames on it
good for at least until 2015 right? were the 2000's just banned this year?

Yea,I'd say good thru 2015. If you are interested in the helmet,and going to NHMS2, stop by my trailer for a test fit.(It's a white enclosed trailer that says Breakaway Automotive on the side) The flames make you go much faster! Free (yes,it's new..) XL T-shirt with the purchase..

ha count me in. my expired helmet is a large, so it should be good. I will have some cash for you on saturday sir. I'll be there saturday and sunday.

At the moment I'm running the stock tune with a MBC set @ 16psi. I will pick up an AP in a month or two, and most likely tweak an OTS map with ATR. mazdaspeedforums.org ftw haha. good guys on there. I'm opt_ms3 if you happen to post on there too.
Forget the toaster oven, it might warm up your pads, but you are trying to BED and HEAT the pads. 350 degrees isn't much. Your pads will run 450+ and rotors 1000+ on the Speed 3. Your booster controller puts you into SPB, by the way.

I realize with the way my car sits, I'm definitely in a competitive class. Probably not going to do too well, being its my first time. I just want to go out and have some fun lol.

DBA 4000 series Rotors( used 50k miles track/dd )and carbotech XP10 brake pads track DD used 15kmiles On my old 08 Mazdaspeed3.
And as always Chaos4 and myself have noticed that the Lower Control Arms AREN'T the best......... Cheap plastic bushing and gobbles of grease.
Get yourself some SS braided lines , decent flush with RBF600 by motul and you'll be in business

ok, I just got back from doing the bed-in process for the carbotechs. Got the brakes damn hot through a series of medium stops, then a bunch of hard stops (to a slow roll). They stop good., but damn do they dust like all hell haha.
but. I messed up on the brake bleeding before I went out. I have a Motive power bleeder, but I guess I bled the rears too much, and I accidentally ran the reservoir dry on the last caliper... The pedal is not as firm as it should be. It works, just takes a decent amount of travel.
There goes a waste of 2 pints of Motul
Guess I'll try to pick up more tomorrow, and bleed the brakes again when I get to Louden. I also never thought about the clutch. I think they share the same fluid. Either of you guys with the MS3's know where that is bled from?
