care package
who ever came up with the idea of the care package for paying our member ship on time thanks . that was a great idea !
Re: care package
David, we are glad that you like our "care package". The BOD - with a big prod from our President, John Spain, thought that this would be a great way to thank our members for their continued support.
If you were not at the test day but paid your annual dues by March 15th you will be receiving his "care package" in the mail in the next 10 days.
If you missed our "care package" - the Tee Shirt, COM Bumper Sticker, COM Sticker, COM Business Cards, Com Fridge Magnet and COM Index Card - will be for sale - at a nominal price at Mosport - see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Re: care package
I have just received my package in the mail, and it looks terrific.
Thanks to all who worked to develop the contents, and to those who followed through on delivering them. Very professional.
And my new license is, in fact, so durable that it will last a full ten days BEYOND the popularly claimed "end of the world!"
A serious observation, however, is that the Member ID differs from the previously issued license number. Is this so that we can now track non-licensed members as effectively as licensed ones?

Yes that was an awesome little gift when i went to the mail box today
Re: care package
Yes. We did away with the notion of a license number. In the new system every member is assigned a universal ID when they join the club. You then get a status of Member, Licensed or Instructor.cfossum wrote: A serious observation, however, is that the Member ID differs from the previously issued license number. COM license numbers no longer appear in member profiles to reflect the new club policy regarding member numbers.
Also, your profile now lets you upload [and crop] a profile image. You can upload one 100KB JPEG, GIF, PDF or PNG image. Profile images can be used for ID licenses (should that be done in the future), they can also be made viewable (or not) to members via the Member Directory page.
