I need a driving suit

Post by blindsidefive0 » Wed Apr 27, 2011 10:24 am

I'm going to be running Lemons at NHMS on 5/7 and 5/8, and my pajamas aren't going to cut it.

Does anyone have a driving suit they would be willing to sell me (preferably one that hasn't been soiled too much)? I'm a "Medium".
I would also be willing to borrow, wash repeatedly, and return (with a dead president in the pocket).

If not, anyone know of any deals on driving suits that they could send this way?

Bruce - awesome. I'll be at Mosport.

Now was the suit originally black...or did it become black over the years as a result of the greased shadow and multiple soilings? Either way, I don't care - just curious. If anything the worn out suit will make me seem more "serious" - like I must know what I'm doing because I've worn out this driving suit with so much seat time...

The soilings were on the inside.
It was originally black but now is kinda sun faded orange.
Yes, you must not dishonor the suit!

The suit is in the truck.

Awesome - any chance you know the safety rating of the suit?

I'm putting an order in for nomex socks and new shoes, and I need to know if I need to also buy the long underwear. If it's a multi-layer suit SFI 3.2/A5 or better than I don't.

Hey Nickster,

Didn't jackie chan wear a suit in a movie that gave him special powers. Could be that you are be taking away some of Bruce's special racing powers with his suit at Mosport... Ill have to watch my "six" now.

The "power" comes from adding lightness.
