IMO we as an organization looked great just like synaptic3 who had a booth that day , When COM was down at North East Exotic show in Merrimack NH we raised i want to say over 500.00 someone correct me if i'm wrong but the event was to help Make a wish foundation, and I will say that having a dontation to that organization makes this organization stand out. Hope to see COM at WBM If Rally teams are going to be there so should COM ( I hear Tanner Foust is bringing his sweedish pit crew ;-))
Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will love to chat with you to get some details in regards to your experience. Here's an update so far. I'm currently in discussion with WBM organizer's to try and get discount for COM's entrance fee or perhaps share a booth with someone and get much reduce fee. I'll let eveyone know the details more as I get more info.

I'm too very excited to in regards to representing COM at WBM. As a Subaru owner/racer for the past 5 years, this event is somewhat big for me too. Having COM as my home club even makes it much more special.

Please PM me with your contact info and we can discuss more.

Sam, if this event does get approve from the board of directors, I think your video equipment would be very helpful and will tell what COM is all about. I will contact you once I have more info.

Thank you,
David

Once upon a time you got Peter Fontana to sign up...he looped in me, my cousin, my uncle, and my sisters. I looped in Dave Lemoine and Adam Markey. This year, I might even have another GT Academy competitor come run with COM. That's probably $10k+ for COM all starting from my dad a while back. If you got ONE member like that, the ROI is 20x or more.
Nick, I'm very sure that is how it usually goes. Word of mouth. One leads to another and then another. If the organization does provide a positive experience, people will come back for more and tell others. This is what I'm hoping to accomplish at WBM this year.

Interesting topic, but for the most part of the 400+ members, only the same handful will volunteer to set up displays, show their cars and man the information booth at these shows. We have done the Exotic Car show at Budwieser twice now with practically no volunteers to help in this "all volunteer", member owned club. Last year at the NHMS open house it was the same. This year the NHMS open house is April23, we have 2 bays set aside FREE to show our wares. Anybody want to be there at 730 AM to set up the display? Anybody want to bring their car to show the variety of makes we have? Thanks to "Mr Volunteer" we will have at least one car (a Corvette z06). Anyone else? Anyone volunteering to man the booth, answer questions and encourage participation in our Driver Education? Anyone want to help take the display apart at 400PM?

I know David, and your volunteerism was much appreciated! Since you brought your car the previous year, I just figured you had done a fair share, I got some newbies to volunteer their time. Countach?? I would say you be the #1 car this year! :D

Sam, just to confirm it's on April 23rd Saturday at NHMS? I could just go to the front gate and tell them that I'm with COM and they will let me in?

Correct, you will have to sign the normal release at the window, then drive on down. Thanks again!
