@Cy: That's really nice driving. I like you correcting before you get light on the bump, and protecting the pass on the stretch.
In the Octopus, in the dry, are you running the turtles to pull you around?

The middle line down the front straight was because it was driest in the middle of the track in the braking zone. I think the track has a slight crown there. I also found that hooking the inside front tire on the turtles through the Octopus Head helped with the understeer through that corner in the rain. I use a different line in the dry.
I don't remember much about lap times, as this was 2009 and I didn't make it back there this year. Mylaps.com says my fastest wet qual lap was a 156.7, 146.1 wet qual race lap in that video and a 138.7 dry lap the following day. Remember that I'm in a Spec Miata pushing 107HP with the restrictor plate. There are several things that I plan to do differently next time I'm there, probably next August...mostly different lines through several corners.
