WTB: Snow tires

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a set (or two) of snow tires. 14, 15, 16 inch are fine. If you have wheels too they need to be 5x100 (vw) and at least 15inches or 4xsomething for my miata.

We have a very good set of Bridgestone Blizzaks- I believe they are 205/55r16. Used 1 season before the car (a Saab) was totalled this summer. They are mounted on Saab rims, but can be split up. Give a call at the shop- if interested- and I'll get you more details.

I have a set of gently used snow tires - Dunlop Graspic 2's - 185 / 70 - 14 mounted on steel 14" 4 x 100 (Miata size) rims. Used on my Miata last year. Looking for $200 for all 4.

The rims are alloys off a 2001 Saab 9-5. The bolt pattern is 5-100. The tire size is 205/60r16. We went slightly skinnier than the stock 215/55r16 for better snow traction- but same height. None of these specs are Miata- friendly. If anyone else is interested, the tires probably saw 1,000 miles of use last Winter, were removed on April 5, 2010 and the car was totaled last Summer. $300 with or without the O.E. Saab Alloys.

I'm interested in these too. I need two sets of winter tires. One for my daily driver (VW GTI) and one for the miata so I can take it out to some winter driving schools. I'll call you tomorrow.

I did some research and I don't think the saab wheels will work on my vw. I am definitely still interested in the tires. Either way I'll give you a call tomorrow in the early afternoon.
