Anyone going to NHIS Saturday have a roll of "racer tap

Post by TTA89 » Thu Apr 06, 2006 1:24 pm

I just realized that I don't have class letters for my car, does anyone have a roll of that blue tape I can buy on Saturday?

The car is white, so blue would be nice. :D

I'm sure someone will have tape, but the blue 3M painter's tape (available at Home Depot) is best!

That would be me

I just got back from bedding in the race pads, I really like these pads. The car stops awesome. Waiting an hour for them to cool so I can datalog the car and try to detune it some more. I don't want to scare you too much on the first day.

I hope it doesn't rain....

I have enough of the blue tape to sticker 20 cars if anyone needs some. 8)

I'll probably be too numb to be scared...lost a clutch (?) and alternator today at open practice...Between work and repairs- tomorrow will be a long day.
Just another day in the Mustang garage.

If anyone wants nicer #'s, let me know (Send a PM as I dont check the site much). I have a vinyl cutting machine and if you cover the noiminal cost of the vinyl ($5-10), I'll cut what you want.

I have both permanent and removable adhesive-baced vinyl. I use the removable stuff on my vette which is great because it comes off clean, even after a couple months.

Then I realized.... DUH.....My car is blue.. Blue tape no worky... I think I saw a roll of black on the shelf at Mick's place yesterday... I'll see if I can swipe that. :)

That was duct tape.
You're welcome to use it, but it may hurt a bit when you pull it off.
