NJMP Onboard w/ DSG Nissan

Post by 240rsmaxi » Tue Nov 16, 2010 12:20 am

Just thought I'd post up a video from the NJMP time trial. The third lap was cut short due to a (yet to be determined but most likely a selector problem w/ 3rd gear) gearbox issue so I had to settle on the 2nd lap time which I think was 1:28.2. I had a really great time at this track despite the rainy first day and I really can't wait to go back there. I feel like I was just starting to feel comfortable with a few of the corners. Not sure why I was going from fourth to third, then back to fourth on turn 6.

I'm excited for next years events and if all goes well this winter (if I get all of what I need to get done...done), my Dad and his MGC GT Sebring will be out at lots of COM events. If anyone is interested, you can see photos of it here. http://www.dentsport.com/gallery/projec ... allery=207

Here is the onboard.

Wow. That thing is ridiculously fast, Bill... glad to see it back on the track (at least from here). Very nice driving, you have some mighty huevos in that beast!

Wow. Is that a straight gear dog box? That's flying. The MG is a great build! PB car? It looks killer!

Its a Gforce h pattern dogbox adapted to the nissan motor:)

The MG I think will most likely be PA as it is turbocharged 6 cylinder but I don't think my dad will care too much about winning any events as he is more excited about just getting it out on the track!

That's really what it is all about,in my eyes as well. You are lucky to have a father who shares your passion! :sunny: :sunny:
