Lee Speedway Flea Market - any good?

Post by bhoss » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:05 pm

I missed the huge racing flea market at Thompson Ct last weekend and was wondering if anyone knew how big the Lee Raceway (NH) flea market is this weekend?

Is it worth the hour drive?

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are trying to find a rare ford part, I'd say no. If are looking generatic race parts (aftermarket brake parts, shocks, AN fittings etc.) or grab a deal from a desperate racer, I'd say yes. It has at most about 3% the number of venders than Thompson and I am probably be generous. I may go up Sunday morning, but I live about a 1/2 hour away, and I have a friend that lives across the street from the track.

I live 5 min from the track and have gone to the flea market many times. Never saw anything worthwhile. I could have picked up a full size heavy hydralic jack that the seals were blown out of for $150. Who knows, you might just find ' a deal'
