Country Inn and Suites.....NJMP

Post by TroyV » Tue Oct 19, 2010 1:27 pm

I made a call to the Country Inn and Suites. 5 miles from the track. They will offer us a discount. 70 bucks plus tax a night. It seems like a very good deal. They say they have plenty of capacity. I called and spoke to Michelle at the front desk, and while I wouldn't consider this an official room block, I did tell her that more people from our group may call there looking for the same discount.

The local phone number is (856)-825-3100.

I'm officially booked at 70 plus tax a night. Michelle says she'll leave a note at the desk after her shift that more calls may come in and to offer that rate.

Another option is to stay right at the track for $92 per night in their VIP Suites.

"Conveniently located on Pit Lane, each suite includes a flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, bathroom with shower, refrigerator, microwave and a shared balcony overlooking the front straight with a view of the start-finish line. The Suites also double as a hotel room so you never have to leave the site! Two pull-out double beds will accommodate up to 4 guests. Full maid services and catering are also available during your stay."

+1 on what Mark said. I just booked the track suite at that price also.

Sign up for the BBQ Thursday night, bring a cooler of cold ones, and you don't have to drive anywhere Thursday night

Garages are only $30 on weekdays - and you can reserve the garage when you call for your VIP Suite reservation.

Has anyone stayed at the Motorsports Inn & Suites? It seems to be 50 per night with AAA discount.

I think this is the same place at 1801 North Second Street in Millville.

According to a COM member that has stayed there:
"Yes, it was scary." "During the day, I’m sure its fine, and the lot is very well lit. Just don’t wander around at 1:30am. I may try to find someplace different this time, my wife would never tolerate the Motorsports Inn."

Didn't that same COM member have a close encounter with a townie in the parking lot at about 1:30 am?

I hear they are waiting for him to show his face in Millville next week! This time it won't be one guy but a gang.

btw, the Motorsports Inn has nothing to do with the track except to fool people into thinking they do. Its about 5-10 minutes away.

I dug up some reviews, and they are all horrible. The country inn reviews are much nicer. If i go, i'll pay the extra.

I stayed in a track suite last year for a race weekend and it was pretty nice. Two fold-out couches with COMFORTABLE mattresses, flat screen TV, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, clean bathroom and AC/cold shower 90 seconds after getting out of the car in August. Plus the view from the balcony of the front straight is cool, though the better view is from the roof of the tower. You can see most of the track from up there.

Also, there is a great pub downtown.
