Spec Miata (and trailer) for sale
Currently set up for NE SSM rules – SPC for COM
Built in 2000 - one of the first Spec Miata’s built in New England (or the country for that matter).
1990 - 1.6 liter (I have to add weight to make 2275 pound minimum)
New crate engine in 2006 (runs very strong)
1997 Transmission
Current SCCA log book
Lot’s of other stuff ….
Car has been incredibly reliable for me throughout the years. It has competed in dozens of regional races and a bunch of enduro’s, and we’ve won with it a number of times. The car has a bit of “character” (polite term for bumps and bruises gained with 9 years of racing), but has always been well maintained – suspension and drivetrain have been upgraded continuously, and the car still runs with the top group of SSM cars at the NE SCCA races (A 1st and 2nd in my only two races this year).
Boatload of spares (hood, doors, trunk, transmission, misc. mechanical parts)
Trailer is standard issue Econoline 16 ft open bed – purchased new in 2000. Will need tires within the next few years, but other than that, no issues at all.
If you’re looking for a turn key, cost effective (i.e. cheap) way to get on the track for both COM and SCCA, this is it.
$5000 for car and trailer.
Located in southern NH, and will deliver anywhere close by. E-mail me for pictures.

Wow! That is a GREAT price for a fully-caged, respectable car, never mind the trailer. Marc is an accomplished, experienced driver and really takes care of the equipment.
Somebody please buy this before I decide to put a V8 into it!
Marc, what are your plans? Stepping back for a bit, or going in a new direction?!
Cheers,
Will

Re: 1990 Spec Miata and Trailer
Hey guys,
Thanks for the kind words - maybe that's why I got so many calls on it so fast.
Sold it to a guy from Ct. Hopefully he'll get a bunch of use out of it - the car always treated me well. I haven't used it much in the past couple years, so I figured I'd turn my attention to something else - maybe a street car I can occasionally beat up on the track. Haven't quite decided yet. A guy here at work keeps offering me his motorcycle to get my race license, but I don't think bones heal all that well at my age.
Anyway, thanks again, and I'm absolutely sure I'll be seeing you at a few of next years events.
