Thanks for posting this Jonathan. I see there is one on Oct. 7th as well!

I'll be there! I will be doing the half day session. They run Chicane/chicane right?

I think Mike Higgins and Scott Chambers will be representing the Mustang clan.

Hhhmmmmm, I wonder if they will limit it to 20 cars max at a time?

Re: Open Track at NHMS tomorrow 9/23
last time I was at a test day I sat at pit out for 15 minutes waiting for a car to exit so that I could enter the track.
Re: Open Track at NHMS tomorrow 9/23
Wow what an awesome open track session. At the end of the day it was Jon Cowen, Kenny Conway, one other car, and myself on the track. For at least 30 minutes this is how it was. The whole time I was there I didn't see anymore then 7 cars out on the track at one time. What a great bang for your buck.

I was the only open wheel car so I was 20 min on then 20 min off. I got 7 sessions until I noticed the engine plate on my car had separated from the chassis on one side. I notified control that I could not continue so everyone else had open track from 2:30 on. Control was run from the tower and everything went really smoothly.

New pads and rotors. Better but still a bit funky. I think there may be a sticking piston up front.

http://www.nhms.com/schedule/open/ Oct 7th is the last one of the year.
As far as the day's schedule goes its wide open unless there are open wheeled cars. It alternates between 20 minute open wheel and closed wheel sessions. (at least at the couple I have done )
