Wait, that thing has 2 too many cilinders. Call me a purist but I dont consider that a 'real' M3.
Nice paint job though!

i think is a shame to do that to a first gen M3 . if it was just a run of the mill 3 then ok have at it .

I agree, the stock engine sounds awesome, too.962porsche wrote:i think is a shame to do that to a first gen M3 . if it was just a run of the mill 3 then ok have at it .

I'd take Mick's car over that one, no question. There was a nice E30 at NH this weekend with an S50 though

My motor in that chassis would be pretty sweet though. First thing I would do is remove the faux carbon fiber stickers from the rain gutters. CF rain gutters, really now?

As much as I like an S14 under the hood, someone did pay $48K for that car... Someone offers me that much for my car and I'll deliver it tomorrow

That's a lot of dough. I'm curious if he'll actually get paid for the car or if he's found a deadbeat. I've never sold a car on ebay, but I get the impression that there a lot more bidders than real buyers.

Re: Mick- are you ready for something new?
Yeah, hopefully it's a legitimate bid. That's a lot of pressure on the buyer to inspect the car within the auction period, then place a bid.
If it was a regular E30, that might have been me? Black on semi-black. I had a gray cloth seat for my passenger seat.agrabau wrote:I'd take Mick's car over that one, no question. There was a nice E30 at NH this weekend with an S50 though

Not wanting to be too much of an anal Quality Control guy, but wouldn't you think for $100,000 + they could have painted and detailed the engine compartment$ Quite a bit of rusty stuff can be seen in the pics.Mick wrote:Hmmm, I think I'd rather have this one
